From Ohio History Central

The Rabbinical College of Telshe is a Jewish institution for studying the Talmud and the Torah. Originally it was located in Lithuania, but as the German military conquered Lithuania during World War II and persecuted people of the Jewish faith, many students and faculty members of the Rabbinical College of Telshe relocated to Cleveland, Ohio. The Rabbinical College of Telshe currently is located at Wickliffe, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland. The institution offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in theology. Typically, fewer than one hundred students enroll at the Rabbinical College of Telshe each year.
