Students protesting at Kent State University, Kent, Ohio, 1970. The students were protesting the American invasion of Cambodia after the announcement by President Richard Nixon on April 30, 1970. The protests started on May 1 on the Kent State Campus, ending on May 4th with the killing of four students and wounding of nine others.
