Cincinnati Reds (National Football League)
The Cincinnati Reds was a professional football team in Cincinnati, Ohio. The team played in the National Football League. Established on July 8, 1933, the Reds remained a team in the National Football League for the 1933 and the 1934 seasons. In the team’s first season, the Reds finished fourth in the Western Division, with a record of three wins, six losses, and one tie. The next season, the Reds finished sixth in the Western Division, with zero wins, eight losses, and zero ties. During the middle of the season, the National Football League suspended the Reds for failing to pay league dues. The St. Louis Gunners, an independent team in St. Louis, Missouri, played the Reds’ final three games. The Reds ceased to exist after the 1934 season.
