The Fairmount Mound is a large conical mound located on the grounds of Fairmount Presbyterian Church in Licking County. The mound is 15 feet high and 80 feet in diameter. It is not known who erected the mound. Some archaeologists believe that it was built by the Adena culture (800 B.C. to 1 A.D.) of pre-contact American Indian people.
