The Columbus Ziggx was a women's professional soccer team from Columbus, Ohio. The Ziggx was a charter member of and originally played in the Central Division of the United States Inter-Regional Women's League. This league eventually became the United States Women's Soccer League. In the Ziggx's inaugural season (1995), the team finished in third place in its division, with a final record of seven wins and three losses. During the 1996 season, the squad also finished in third place in its division, with a final record of five wins and four losses. The next season, the Ziggx played in the Midwest Division, completing the season in second place in the division. In 1998, the team's final season, the Ziggx played in the W-1 Division's Central Division in the United States Women's Soccer League. The squad finished fourth in this division, with a combined record of six wins and seven losses. Due to a declining fan base, the Ziggz disbanded at the end of this season.
