{ In 1963, Columbus State Community College opened in Columbus, Ohio. Initially, sixty-seven students enrolled. The college grew quickly, with approximately twenty-three thousand students enrolled in 2006. This same year Columbus State Community College offered classes at nine off-campus sites in the central Ohio area. The main campus consists of eighty acres of land and includes more than two dozen buildings. The college awards the largest number of Associates degrees each year of any two or four-year institution in Ohio. [[Category:{$topic}]]
