The Cleveland College of Jewish Studies, now known as the Laura and Alvin Siegal College of Jewish Studies, is located in Beachwood, Ohio. This institution offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees. Siegal College offers programs in education, Jewish studies, and Hebrew. The college is also a leader in distance learning among Jewish-affiliated institutions of higher education. The Ohio Board of Regents has authorized Siegal College to offer both undergraduate and Masters degrees, while regents in Kansas, Texas, and Georgia allow the college to award students Masters degrees through distance learning in their states. Siegal College's enrollment in recent years averaged one thousand students per academic year, although the vast majority of these students were either part-time or distance-learning students.
