The Canton Legends is a professional indoor football team from Canton, Ohio. The squad plays its home games at the Canton Memorial Civic Center. The Legends plays in and was a founding member of the American Indoor Football League.

The American Indoor Football League formed in 2005. In the league’s first season, six teams participated. The Canton Legends won just three and lost seven games in the squad’s first season, tying for fourth in the league. The team advanced to the playoffs, losing to the Erie Freeze in the semifinals.
